My major goal for the year is to move to Chicago before winter hits again. I’ve been looking to move for almost 2 years now but had to delay due to multiple factors. The first is my student loans that will be wiped clean in just a few months. The second major factor was my current employer was going to drop Illinois from their work-from-home options. It’s not that they wouldn’t allow the move, but that my employment would change due to tax purposes. I still haven’t heard about the possibility this year, so I might run into problems soon.

I’ve been in Fargo, ND for 4 years now and I can’t stay here any longer. The winters are brutal and the locals are so very different. Hopefully soon I’ll be on the road and on my way to the Windy City soon.

July 2024 Update: I’ve started seriously looking at The Netherlands for my next adventure. I can always fall back to Chicago, if I think I can’t make it work. I hope to know more soon.
